He thinks he likes the cage.
Nostalgia is not his game, most nights. Here, though, with the agon and the chess of light against light against dark, it reminds him of water. Of the moon and the tides, and the fishes breathing above him. It is not such a bad thing, to be a whisper in the soul (light from the orb, unlight from the sun).
He has no reflection in the convex steel. Of course. He has all their reflections inside him, the map of every fracture and fear. They are poetry in his hands, his voice.
